After reading The Gilded Ones, I won’t say I consider it Young Adult fiction, that tag is so limiting, because it implies the target audience for the book are young but the reality is it’s fiction for all. One young girls and women of all ages can relate to.
I finished reading Ten Rules For Faking It by Sophie Sullivan yesterday! I’ll get to the review soon but I’ve got to say I feel so good because for the first time ever—I read the books I set out to read for the month!!!
I love the story this picture tells. To me it’s showing Benz, my precious doggo who looks like he wants to sleep and how the cover of Vaults of Secrets is telling everyone to keep quiet in order not to disturb him 🥺
QOTD - Do you read books full of trauma? I do, but I can only take so much. I read them though because it’s important and reminds me to be more empathetic towards others.
Happy New Year! The first thing that drew me to With the Fire on High was it's cover, I instantly fell for it, it's so beautiful. Looking at it filled me with limitless joy, I knew I had to get it without giving any attention to the blurb. While I was salivating at getting myself a copy, I had yet to read Poet X, all I was going on was the assurance my fellow reading friends only raved about Acevedo's storytelling and how magnificent it is, and now after I have read both Poet X and With the Fire on High, I can comfortably agree with them 100%.

Today I took one of my oldest of friends and the best of all my book sugar daddies to @ouidabooks and left with this amazing book haul.
Hello, it’s been a while since you saw me. Let me reintroduce/introduce myself. I’m Lara and I am obsessed with reading. I love collecting books as well.
It’s been a while since I took the time to read a collection of poems and I miss reading them, so I shall try to cover my backlog of poetry tbr before the year runs out.
